  • Your annual salary starts at $33,280 and is commensurate with education and experience.
Responsibilities and Duties
  •  Work Monday - Friday for full time employment
  •  Execute lesson plans and curriculum
  •  Maintain licensing requirements, supervision, and Health & Safety of the children
  •  Complete required assessments and observations
  •  Communicate with parents and help meet their children's needs
  •  Maintain cleanliness in the classroom
  •  Most of All - Have fun!
 These are responsibilities for our most common positions, and we will be happy to discuss responsibilities further based on classroom assignments.
 
 Qualifications and Requirements
Teachers at our school deliver the Balanced Learning curriculum and engages children with classroom materials and resources to explore, while maintaining health and safety, classroom management and supervision.
· High School diploma (or equivalent), CDA, Associates Degree, or higher (preferred)
 · Highly dependable and professional with pleasant/friendly demeanor
 · High integrity, competent, confident and coachable
 · Able to interact with students of all ages and skill levels with an understanding of the social- motional and creative needs of young children
 · Excellent communication, good listening, follow-up and problem-solving skills, including high coping capabilities
 · Responsible for general classroom management and supervision, which includes the personal care, hygiene and positive guidance of the children
 · Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib. 

  • Infant - Preschool Teachers: 2 year degree in early childhood or related field preferred 
  • Pre-Kindergarten Teachers: 4 year degree in early childhood or related field required
